Did you know that it isn't good when your system is out of order?
Now by "Out of Order" I mean when your mental picture of how things should be is very different from how things actually are. Human beings are always striving for order, and when our mental picture of how things should be matches reality, we feel comfortable and in control.
Who does this sound like? Picke me, pick me I know the answer. It is Jim "GOD" Dickey.
But what happens when they don't match? What happens when our mental picture of, say, I should be Council President is thrown out of order by my little itty bitty mind? Or our picture of how I should be the mayor of Fairmount Indiana, when that position doesn't exist?
Well, what happens is that we create inside ourselves a tremendous amount of drive and energy to restore order, to make our inner picture and reality match, once again.
For "GOD", does that mean it's my way or the HIGHWAY?
We feel highly motivated to be the Council President, to be the mayor of Fairmount Indiana, to do whatever is required to set things right in our mind.
Sounds just like Mr. Jim "GOD" Dickey.
Once order is restored, the drive and energy turn off because they are no longer needed.
Well, "GOD" may be the next council president, but I don't think the next mayor of Fairmount, Indiana. So hold on.
This is exactly how goal-setting works. When you set a goal and systematically visualize the end-result, no mater who you step on, you throw your system out of order. That creates the drive and energy to change reality so that it matches the picture you have been visualizing.
Question, how can "GOD" see that much in his itty bitty tiny weeny mind?
"GOD" your Out Of Order, sit down, relax and have a nice cold glass of lemonade.

Go Go Gadget "GOD" Dickey
I was reading this article that made alot of sense, basicly about big people acting like little kids with there SMALL minds. It went something like this, with my added questions and statements.
Question "GOD", How do you respond to personal affronts or insults? All this that your carrying on about appears maybe someone made you mad. If you had high self-esteem, they probably won't bother you much.
Have you ever noticed that people with low self-esteem have a terrible time with anything they perceive as an insult? Is this you "GOD"? You see, beneath their façade of self-confidence, they're really not convinced of their own value or competence. O' my god this sounds just like "GOD". So whenever they believe that someone has insulted or rejected them, they come unglued. "GOD" needs some super glue, fast, not!
They fret and fume, they get angry, they spend a lot of time brooding about it, and sometimes they even seek retaliation or revenge. Sounds like the writer of this article I read must have met you "GOD". But people with high self-esteem just brush it off. That's not you "GOD".
The writer of this article went on to say: At the height of the U. S. Civil War, President Lincoln and his secretary of war paid a visit to General McClellan in the battle area to hear first-hand about how the war was going.
As they were waiting for the general to arrive, McClellan came in, covered in grime. He brushed by them, went upstairs, and eventually sent his maid to tell them he was tired and had gone to bed. The secretary of war was aghast and said to Lincoln, "Surely you're not going to let him get by with that. Surely you will relieve him of his command."
Lincoln thought about it for a minute or two. Then he said, "No, I will not relieve him. That man wins battles and I would hold his horse and clean his shoes if it would hasten the end of this bloodshed by one hour." It's the same for anyone who has high self-esteem. They are so secure that they can easily be humble and nothing threatens their sense of purpose and self-worth.
Think about that next time you feel someone insults you "GOD".

It's Howdy Doody Time
Well, as expected the Fairmount Indiana local paper, The News-Sun had an article about the Fairmount Council meeting held July 14th 2008. Right off the bat they wrote about an issue concerning a dispatcher that Mr. Jim "GOD" Dickey isn't pleased with. Mr. Jim "GOD" Dickey, you say you have been open and honest about this issue concerning the dispatcher. Why shouldn't you be? It doesn't involve you. Have you been open and honest about every issue concerning you or your family? Think real hard about that one "GOD". In every job you have held, did you see or know of someone wrong doing? Did you do anything to prevent it, or just collect you pay check? Think real hard again "GOD".
Mr. Jim "GOD" Dickey goes on to say, two officers eye-witnessed this law breaking activity. If that's the case "GOD" why didn't these two officers arrest the dispatcher? Did they really see it, "GOD"?
Mr. Jim "GOD" Dickey, stated "This is wrong and I don't believe in it". Tell me "GOD", have you ever broke the law? Think real , real hard about this one "GOD". O' wait I get it "GOD", your another Ward Clever.

The Circus Is In Town
Interesting Fairmount Town Board Meeting Monday July 14th, Featuring Ring Leader/Clown Jim "GOD" Dickey and Bob "BoBo" Roth As The Follow Up Clown.
A new marshal was appointed, however Jim Dickey didn't vote in favor of the new marshal because he thinks the investigation isn't over with the former marshal. Jim, it's past time to wake up. Jim Dickey told the following to the Marion Chronicle Tribune on July 14th referring to the new marshal. “I personally don’t have anything against Roger, but I feel like the investigation needed to be solved, all answers, no doubts about anything,” Dickey said.
It's funny because where you see one clown, there's always more. Just read what Mr. Bob "BoBo" Roth had to say to the Marion Chronicle Tribune.
Resident Bob Roth agreed, saying the decision should have been put off longer. He told the council that because they don’t get along, they are an embarrassment to the county.
Now, just back that truck up. Did Bob Roth say the council is an embarrassment to the county. Huh, what about the state. Bob, you must have just woke up. Bob Roth went on to say,
“I don’t know what’s the matter with it,” Roth said. “We act like a bunch of teenagers when we get up here.”
Just hold on Bob, if you know you act like a bunch of teenagers when you get up their, than can't you help youself. If not, stop getting up their, BoBo.
Man O Man, I'm glad this circus show called Ringling Jim "GOD" Dickey And Bob "BoBo" Roth is free. It wouldn't be worth paying one cent.

Tell It Like It Is
Let me tell you like it is.
The community of Fairmount Indiana deserves a better performance than its elected leaders have provided in the past few months. It would be good for all if one council member could get on the same page. Jim Dickey, who seems murky. A fresh start might be what the community needs. The council needs to be able to conduct the public’s business in a professional manner absent literal finger pointing and anger. Let’s hope the embarrassment comes to an end soon.
